The sky is completely clear or partly cloudy for 80% of the time. Low season for the main tourism sector, so very few rental cars and buses around meaning the roads are at their quietest. A lot of restaurants and hotels are closed, but enough are still open. Good month for cycling.

Temperatures are slightly higher and the almond blossom starts to appear. Slightly cloudier overhead on average than January, but the same number of rainy days. Still low season with very, very quiet roads and lots of restaurants and hotels still closed. Good month for cycling.

Spring is arriving. Days becoming longer and temps rising. Not uncommon to be able to lie on the beach (water still cold at around 15º C though). Roads still quiet with cars but the spring cycling season brings a lot of cyclists. Lots of restaurants and hotels now open. Great month for cycling.

Spring cycling season in full flow. Days longer and temperatures slowly rising. Not uncommon to have the occasional day over 22º C. All restaurants and hotels now open. Sea still cold but the beach is plenty warm enough to work on those comedy tans! Great month for cycling.

The days are warmer and longer, and the roads are busier with non cycling tourists now, but still clear if you plan your rides to Cap Formentor and Sa Calobra to be away before 11:00. Sea is good for swimming. Great month for cycling.

This is the real start of the high season, but before the school holidays. The days are now hot, and the evenings warm. The roads are busier with non cycling tourists now, but still clear if you plan your rides to Cap Formentor and Sa Calobra to be away before 11:00. Sea is great for swimming. Good month for cycling.

The weather is now hot and at times quite humid. Best time to cycle is in the early mornings to beat the heat and the tourist traffic. Cycling in the evenings is ok, but the roads have absorbed heat in the day and now release it. Good for cycling if you go in the morning. Not recommended for long one way routes.

Usually the hottest month of the year with higher humidity than July. Best time to cycle is in the early mornings to beat the heat and the tourist traffic. Weather starts to cool now, with corresponding occasional rain and thunderstorms. A good month for cycling, being aware that the major routes are full of rental cars and buses after 11:00. beat them and it is a great month to cycle.

The third rainiest month with an average of 7 wet days. Still a good month for cycling once those 7 are out the way. Cooler evenings but still warm enough in the day for the beach. Good month for cycling.

Often compared to the UK in May. A good month for cycling even though it is historically the wettest month. Most of the month can be expected to be sunny or mostly sunny. Most of the restaurants and hotels outside of the main centres are closed. Good month for cycling.

The shortest days of the year but with beautiful clear blue skies it feels like a paradise compared to the rest of Europe. Most of the restaurants and hotels outside of the main centres are still closed, those catering for locals are open and doing a roaring trade. Good month for cycling.

Please note that the Tramuntana mountains can at times have its own micro climate. Also because of their altitude, the temperature is always a few degrees cooler than the rest of the island.
